Performance Appraisals

Job Description

A job description will be presented to you during your employment interview. This description is subject to change and may be changed at any time during your employment. The job description and certain other criteria as outlined therein will serve as the basis upon which performance is to be evaluated.

Introductory Period

An introductory period review will take place within ninety (90) days of the start of your employment. Your immediate supervisor will evaluate your performance to date. It should be noted that this is a performance review only, which may be extended if necessary.

Annual Performance Appraisal

An annual performance appraisal will take place once a year at the end of the fiscal year. This appraisal process is one where we request our employees to participate in. We like and value your input and request that you submit to your supervisor an evaluation on yourself and your goals and achievements. This process allows us to help you grow with Frenchman ’ s Creek. Once the evaluation has been completed, you will have access to it through ADP to review throughout the year to ensure that you are meeting yours and your supervisor ’ s goals.

If you are transferred or promoted, your performance will be evaluated annually thereafter on your transfer or promotion.

Wage and Salary Reviews

Wage and salary reviews will coincide with the annual Performance Appraisals. Increases may be given then or at any other time when merited by promotion or increased responsibility. Salary adjustments will not automatically be granted at the end of the introductory period or upon an annual review or performance appraisal but are dependent upon satisfactory performance and certain economic considerations. A schedule of salary and wage ranges is available through your immediate supervisor. Each position in Frenchman ’ s Creek maintains a scale of compensation ranges that will predict your future earning potential in each particular position. Frenchman ’ s Creek is committed to each employee ’ s future growth and encourages all employees to set a goal beyond their current position for their own development and increased financial stability.

Promotion

Frenchman ’ s Creek encourages promotions from within. We will promote qualified individuals from within Frenchman ’ s Creek to fill vacant positions whenever possible and where appropriate and at Frenchman ’ s Creek ’ s sole discretion. Any available positions will be posted on Frenchman ’ s Creek ’ s bulletin board located in the employee lounge/cafeteria.
