Food and drink may only be consumed in the employee dining room and may not be brought back to your work area or taken off the premises. Employees may not eat in the cafeteria on their days off (including the day paychecks are distributed). The employee dining room is a privilege, and Frenchman ’ s Creek wants you to feel comfortable that this is your area to rest, relax, and enjoy. You should take pride in the dining room and as such should respect this privilege by helping to maintain its cleanliness and overall appearance.

Employee Locker/Locker Room

A locker may be provided for your personal use. Maintain your locker in a clean and sanitary condition at all times. The storage of food in your locker or consumption of food in the locker room is prohibited. Frenchman ’ s Creek is not responsible for any loss of personal belongings, so please leave all valuables at home. Frenchman ’ s Creek reserves the right to inspect or enter your locker at any time.

Educational Costs

We believe that a well-educated, highly skilled employee who stays current with the trends, skills and information within his/her field is a more productive, effective and generally happier employee, and thus more valuable to Frenchman ’ s Creek. Year-round full time employees who have completed at least one (1) year of continuous employment with Frenchman ’ s Creek can apply for reimbursement for tuition for attending seminars, classes or conferences applicable to their job or anticipated job. Frenchman ’ s Creek may at its discretion provide advance payment of the class, seminar for the employee. The application must be approved by the employee ’ s immediate supervisor and the Director of Human Resources before enrollment in a class. It is the employee ’ s responsibility to complete and submit the application form for approval. The employee shall pay the cost of books, lab fees and materials. Reimbursement is paid by Frenchman ’ s Creek up to $500.00 per calendar year excluding amounts covered by financial aid from other sources. Evidence of satisfactory completion of the course with a minimum of a C or 2.0 on a 4.0 grade scale is required. If the course or seminar does not provide a letter grade, the employee shall provide a copy of the certificate of completion to the Human Resources Department for the employee ’ s personnel file. If you decide that you longer wish to stay with Frenchman ’ s Creek after you have taken a seminar or class paid for or reimbursed by Frenchman ’ s Creek within 1 (one) year of class completion, you will be responsible for reimbursement to Frenchman ’ s Creek (whether or not the form was submitted and/or approved) for the class/seminar in accordance with the reimbursement schedule. Please refer to the reimbursement schedule located on the educational reimbursement form located on the resources page in ADP or see a representative in Human Resources.
