Alan Gurock

Alan, and his wife, Monique, have lived in Frenchman ’ s Creek since 2021 and reside in the community year - round. They have two children, a son Jake and daughter Sydney. Jake is a former Division 1 golfer and graduate of Texas tech University who now works as a wealth manager residing in the Washington DC metro area. Sydney is a graduate of Auburn University and now works as a software account executive residing in Jersey City, NJ. After high school, Alan briefly became a professional bowler before enrolling in SUNY Oswego where he was a member of the Powerlifting team. He then transferred to the University of Maryland where he was a member of Zeta Beta Tau fraternity and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Political Science with a Minor in Psychology. Alan started his career as an Account Representative at ADP for several years before transitioning to the technology space. He has spent his career working for three (Adobe, Oracle, SAP) of the top seven largest technology companies in the world in various senior leadership roles running business units between 250 - 500 million in revenue along with P&L responsibilities. Since retiring from full - time work, Alan enjoys investing in digital and blockchain tech nologies. He is on the advisory board of a global charity initiative called Benefi aimed at revolutionizing charitable giving where donors can deploy their money in a way that will have the greatest impact.

Alan currently serves on the Fitness Center Committee where he is committed to making it the best experience for the members.

1. Why do you want to become a member of the board and what motivates you:

When we arrived at Frenchman ’ s Creek, we did not know a single person, yet re ceived an overwhelming amount of support and kindness. We are so grateful for the friends we have made. Being a board member is an opportunity to “ get in volved ” and participate in the governance and decision - making process of this great community while having a more direct impact and influence on community policies, programs, and facilities. As an avid golfer we have an extremely unique and rewarding experience. Having two great golf courses/practice facilities (which of course we can improve) coupled with a low - density population makes this a spe cial place. The increased property values of residences over the last five years is evidence of this.
