Ned Dorman - The Beach Boys Ned Dorman returned to Frenchman's Creek on Monday, February 12 and gave a fabulous presen tation on the Beach Boys. Through a series of video clips, Ned shared with us the Triumph and Tragedy of one of the most critically

acclaimed and commercially successful bands of all time. Ned took us back in time and brought wonderful memories of our youth through the music of the Beach Boys.

An overflowing crowd was thrilled by his finale where he played a stirring video of

their most famous song "God Only Knows." In this video there were musi cians and singers from every genre of music who came together in literal harmony to cover one of the greatest songs of all time. It was a truly amazing ending to a glorious evening of music and memories. The entire staff did a superb job. Executive Chef Tim and Executive Sous Chef Alex and their culinary staff prepared a wonderful buffet with varied food choices that were delicious. Many thanks to the entire food and beverage staff under the direction of David Kent, Marco, and Carolina. Special recognition to Martina, our Director of Special Events, who executed the perfect event.

We look forward to welcoming Ned back next season for another presentation. Our next entertainment event will be at the Pavilion on Thursday. February 29 featuring "The Shades of Bubble" where a trio of singers will perform songs made famous by Michael Bubble.
