Beach Club Cabaret Night with Michael Cavanaugh - Singer, Actor, Musician

The third Cabaret Night was held, Monday, February 5 and it proved to be a treat be yond words. From the moment, Michael entered the stage, his charisma and energy wowed the capacity crowd. His musicality showed with his great voice, superb piano playing and show

manship. Billy Joel handpicked Michael to star in the Broadway Musical Moving Out. He was made famous for his piano playing and lead vocals in the show. He appeared with the show it's entire three year run with more than 1300 hundred performances as well as receiving individual Grammy and Tony award nominations. He has been honored by Billboard as "The New Voice of the American Rock and Roll Songbook." At the Cabaret he celebrated the music of a variety of artists including Billy Joel, Elton John, Neil Diamond, Jerry Lee Lewis and Frankie Valli among others. His audience appeal and interaction were contagious as he encouraged and welcomed the audience to sing along and had everyone rocking and rolling to his beat which made for an evening of fun, and great enjoyment. Chef Rico and his assistant Max and the culinary team prepared a delicious varied Cuban themed buffet. Cindy working with Gina and T.K, once again planned and organized the perfect event. The last Cabaret event of the season is on Monday, March 25 featuring Jayne Curry, an amazing performer with a great voice. There is no better way to end a great Cabaret series of events.
