Hairstyles - You must wear your hair in a neat & professional style. Hair coloring must be natural or appropriate in appearance. Long hair is acceptable for women, provided that it is worn up either in a bun or ponytail. No elaborate styling, hats, large pins, or clips may be worn. If you are working in one of the restaurants, hair must be pulled back, so it is not hanging down. Facial Hair – It is preferred for men to be clean shaven; however, neatly groomed facial hair of a consistent length (up to 0.5 inches in length), with neatly shaved edges, is acceptable. Men cannot be un-shaven and must either be clean shaven or have fully grown in facial hair (in the manner previously outlined). Men will be asked to shave if they are unshaven or inappropriately groomed.

Kitchen – Chef hats or hairnets must be worn.

Make-up - Make-up should be tastefully applied and not excessive, especially eye shadow and lipstick.

Jewelry

• Rings – A maximum of one simple ring on each hand is allowed. Wedding/engagement rings are considered one ring. • One bracelet and one wristwatch only Extreme ( “ chunky ” ) jewelry is not acceptable. • Pins/Broaches – No attachments other than name tags and service pin on any uniform. • Earrings – No large, long or extreme styles. No double pierced earrings, one earring per ear. • Piercings – No employee, male or female, shall have any visible piercings. This includes but is not limited to nose rings/studs, eyebrow rings/studs, lip rings/studs or tongue piercing. This type of jewelry must be removed before appearing in any member contact area.

Tattoos

Any visible tattoos must be hidden during working hours. This will be done by wearing long sleeves, pants, band-aids, makeup etc. Please refer to your department head for additional standards.

Fingernails

Keep fingernails neatly trimmed and moderate in length. Females may wear nail polish of complementary shades only. Polish must be properly maintained and must be a conservative color. Colors that may not be worn include blue, purple, green, black,
