Over the past year, the committee has focused on the number 1 concern which is perimeter safety including fencing. We have improved the fence from Donald Ross to the Prosperity Bridge by adding a robust “ non - climb ” fence which we would like to contin- ue throughout the community. The Hood Road gate was updated to be much more operable and reliable and enhancements were made to the La Porte Drive gate entry system. Our Committee recommended to the Board to re- build a new gate house with “ state - of - the - art ” technology systems which are used to control and monitor the security operations at Frenchman ’ s Creek. The paramedics have done an excellent job assisting the needs of our membership especially during the pandemic. The paramedics also assisted in administering over 500 Covid tests to members and employees.
Over the holidays, security distributed over 150 reflective vests, 500 glow wrist bands and did over 160 contacts with the membership on golf cart and pedestrian safety concerns. Our committee will continue to develop instructional and informative safety and security educational tools for the community. The Security Committee would like to thank Director Fred Corvo and his staff for their continuous efforts to safeguard the community.

This has been another great year for our Tennis facility, especially with our Tikkyball program, which is flourishing thanks to the increase participation of our existing and newer members. Our Committee has been meeting regularly throughout season with monthly reports by our Director of Tennis. All of our events and activities had great participation, including the Glow in the Dark Tikkyball, Charity Tennis Pro - Am, Tri - Sports Challenge and an excursion to the Miami Open. We have expressed our thoughts to the Board and the Ad Hoc Committee on the plans for the New Clubhouse and at the end of this 2 - 3 year transition we will see 14 Tennis courts, 10 Pickle- ball/Tikkyball courts, and a renovated Bocce Ball court.
To remain a premiere tennis program and attract new players we will continue to enhance the tennis facilities and programs, in- cluding ongoing reviews of our maintenance program and our tennis professional needs.
A special thanks to Tikky and Paul for their tireless efforts scheduling games and teaching members and their families.
Finally, we would like to thank Achal Goswami, Diane Exter and the Board for understanding the needs of our tennis commu- nity, their commitment to excellence and working with us so closely on the new clubhouse plans.
