NO THIS IS NOT AN OSPREY!!

This majestic adult bald eagle was seen on thursday afternoon, February 1st, sitting on the bank of the 5th green south. it was squawking at an osprey. It then took off to a neighboring tree where these pictures were taken. The bald eagle has been seen infrequently at Frenchman’s. I personally have seen one here maybe 10 times in the 33 years that we have lived here. at one time there was a nesting pair at the bears club. Not to be confused with an osprey, the eagle has a pure white head, a solid black body, and an all white tail. enjoy the birds.
