The Grille Lunch Sequence of Service

Always keep our 3 steps of service in mind:  Warm and friendly welcome  Anticipate our member’s needs  Fond farewell

More detailed: 1. Member(s) come in and are greeted by name.

 It is everybody’s responsibility to greet members and their guest!

2. Hostess will seat them at a table

 If hostess is busy everybody should take care of the members

3. Servers ask for drinks and serve them. 4. Hostess brings the menus (Prices / Unpriced). 5. Server takes the order and types it in the computer. 6. The food runner will bring out the food to the table. Server will offer condiments. 7. Refill and check for drinks. 8. Print and place check to the table. 9. Clear the table. 10. Ask for coffee and dessert or cookies. 11. Say good bye when members leave (fond farewell)! 12. Clean and reset the table.

At lunch time you have to drop the check as soon as everybody has their food. If necessary you can always write the check by hand just make sure you type it in the computer afterwards and staple the papers together.
