Refer to upcoming events as to the new buffet layout. If no buffet is required for next event, all tables are to be returned to the pyramid and placed in the correct place. If power cords have been used, make sure they are returned and organized in there correct place.

Coffee Break Opening Assignments

Take a trolley and get the necessary equipment from the MDR silver room/ Kitchen etc. Get withe tablecloth and napkins from the laundry Get bottled Water and Crackers from the dry storage Polish the glasses Polish the spoons and forks and put each of them in a folded napkin pocket on a 7” plate Polish the 7” plates, sort out chipped ones Fold the artichokes Fold a napkin and put it in the bread basket Put napkins in 2 water glasses, put straw and stirrers in them Refill Tea box Refill sugar caddies Set up properly Just before function, bring out all the fresh elements i.e. milk, fruit, cheese etc.

Take a trolley and take off all the used equipment and bring it to the dishwasher Bring dirty linen to the laundry Bring cookies back to pastry Throw away all the snacks and milk If the coffee break is needed a couple of days in a row i.e. cards, make it look nice and cleaned up and replace the equipment so that the next person only needs to get the fresh elements
