GOLF

Dear Members,

As we move into March, we also move into our Championship golf event activity, and we want to remind you of some very important events and dates. Friday, March 5 is the first round of the Men’s Club Championship, with the second round to be contested on Saturday 6. Friday, March 12 will be the Semi-Finals, and Saturday, March 13 will be the Final matches. All flights will be played at scratch, from the tees that the player normally plays from. Special Note: On Saturday, March 13 all finals matches will be played in the afternoon, and following play there will be a cocktail reception in the Sports Bar to toast the Champions. Tuesday, March 9 the first round of the Ladies Club Championship will be held. The second round would be on Thursday, March 11, and the Finals will take place on Tuesday, March 16. In the event we need a rain date, that will be on Tuesday, March 16. The Couple Club Championship will be held on Sunday, March 21. This year the event will be an afternoon event. Registration starts at 12:30 pm, followed by a controlled shotgun at 1:00 pm. The format for the event is Modified Chapman (Alternate Shot).
