FC LIFE January 2023-Edited Copy
KATHY AZEEZ entered her two quilts to the Daytona Beach Quilt , February 22 to the 25th , and they were accepted which is an honor just to be able to show your work. ' I entered 2 quilts into the show, and they both got accepted. One is named “ Purple Passion ”, and the other is “ Log Cabin Rendezvous ”.
The purple quilt, “ Purple Passion ”, was machine pieced , a little appliqué, and free - motion machine quilted.
The yellow quilt ,‘ Log Cabin Rendezvous ”, was machine pieced, a little appliquéd, and I hired someone (Barbara Logulio) to machine quilt it on a long - arm machine, as it fits a king sized bed. I use d the computer program called “ Electric Quilt 8”, to help design them both. '
Each year at the Frenchman ’ s Creek Employees Annual Holiday Party, they all have to bring an unwrapped toy which is collected for “ Toys for Tots ” for the U.S. Marines. This year it was held on Monday, December 5th. Over 200 toys were collected and brought to the Town of Juno Beach for pick up by the U.S. Marines! Thank you Team Frenchman ’ s Creek!
