Non-Disclosure of Information

The protection of confidential business information is vital to the interests and success of Frenchman ’ s Creek. Protection of this information helps to ensure the integrity of the procedures established by Frenchman ’ s Creek to maintain the highest level of customer service for its members. The following are some examples: membership directory, corporate structure, and financial information.

All Frenchman ’ s Creek employees agree and understand that any information obtained during meetings or telephone conversations shall be kept in the strictest confidence.

It is essential that employees do not discuss with anyone outside of this immediate organization anything to do with Frenchman ’ s Creek operations. It is also cause for immediate dismissal for any employee to share or divulge information regarding names, addresses and telephone numbers of Frenchman ’ s Creek members and/or their guests or other employees. The term “ employee ” for purposes of this Non-Disclosure policy shall apply to anyone who works either directly for Frenchman ’ s Creek or has been hired on a part-time basis through an employment agency or other outside organization to assist with any aspect of Frenchman ’ s Creek operations.

Work Related Conflicts and Concerns

At no time, either intentionally or unintentionally, shall work-related conflicts and concerns be addressed to members or guests of Frenchman ’ s Creek. Any work-related conflicts or concerns must be discussed with your supervisor or the Director of Human Resources. For further information, please see the section of this book entitled, “ Grievances, Discipline and Rules of Conduct. ”

Refusal to abide by or adhere to this policy can and will result in immediate termination of your employment with Frenchman ’ s Creek.

SS. Restrictions Applying to Use of Staff by Members for Personal Services (i.e., Services Outside of the Job Function of the Staff Member)

1. Such services may not be provided if they are provided through Frenchman ’ s Creek (i.e., food delivery and chauffeur services). 2. Members may not request the provision of special or personal services from staff members during times when the staff member is on duty. 3. Before providing such services, the employee and the member must sign an acknowledgment stating that the Association is not involved in and bears no responsibility for the engagement of the employee by the member, and that the member will indemnify Frenchman ’ s Creek against any loss, claim, or liability arising out of the member retaining the services of Frenchman ’ s Creek ’ s employee.
