We will make every effort to stagger or rotate shifts to allow all employees to prepare for possible hurricane and then return to work. Category 1. Landfall winds 74-95 MPH . Hurricane Storm tide—4.5 feet above seas level. Damage: minimal to moderate Category 2 or 3. Landfall Winds 96 –130 MPH. Hurricane storm tide 8 feet above sea level. Damage: potential major Category 4 or 5. Landfall winds 131 MPH and stronger. Hurricane storm tide 9 and more feet above sea level. Damage: potential—extreme to catastrophic.
