Robert Annunziata
Bob, and his wife, Patty have lived in Frenchman’s Creek since the fall of 2004, for 17 seasons. They spend 8 months a year in Frenchman’s and the remainder in Sherman, Connecticut on Candlewood Lake. Together they have 4 children and 6 grandchildren. Bob has over 40 years in the Telecommunications industry. After 17 years at AT&T, Bob created local telephone competition in the United States by forming Teleport Communications Group (“TCG”). As Chairman and CEO, TCG intro-
duced broadband fiber optic services to the nation, expanding to 85 cities, with over 10,000 miles of fiber optic cable installed. TCG was instrumental in the Congressional Telecommunications Act of 1996. This Act not only encouraged competition in the Telecommunications industry, but also provided number porta- bility allowing users to keep their telephone number while switching service providers. Bob later returned to AT&T as the President of Business Services. In 1999, Bob became CEO of Global Crossing which was the first company to install sub sea & land fiber optics from Germany to Japan. Bob served on the NYC Board of the YMCA for 8 years and was the Chairman for 5 years. He was a mem- ber of two HOA Boards in Northern communities and has participated on the Marketing and ARB Commit- tees at Frenchman’s Creek. 1. Why do you want to become a member of the Board and what motivates you? As our community changes and our society changes, I feel I can contribute with our community deci- sions for solving today’s issues and focus on the community needs for our future. Besides ensuring our community provides the best services and security for its members, we need to focus on our member harmony and individual respect for each other. Every member should enjoy the various stages of their time and journey at Frenchman’s Creek. 2. What is your vision for the future of Frenchman’s Creek, and as a member of the Board, what specific action plans would you advocate for now to execute your vision? Frenchman’s needs to communicate to all our members the amenities we need to maintain, or add, to continue the great lifestyle we have. As the Board listens to our members and presents ever changing future options, it should then present action plans. The plans should provide current and future estimated costs along with the pros and cons of each initiative. Membership will vote how these initiatives will impact the future lifestyle of our community.

Jon Barovick
It was never a question of if, but rather when, Jon, and his wife, Amy, would move to Frenchman’s Creek. Jon’s parents, Joan and Dick, were original homesteaders and Jon and Amy have been coming to Frenchman’s for about 30 years. In 2018 they be- came members. They still have an apartment in New York City but Frenchman’s Creek is their primary residence. Their three adult children now consider this home, having spent most vacations here growing up. Jeremy, Sam and Carly are all avid golf and tennis players.
Jon has been a financial advisor and the head of a wealth management team at Mer- rill Lynch for 14 years. Prior to that he worked at Smith Barney. He has served on the board of directors of his NYC cooperative for the past 10 years and on various subcommittees at Fenway Golf Club. Amy has a seat on Fenway's board and is head of women’s golf. Jon has an MBA from NYU’s Stern School of Business.
Jon has been actively involved with the new clubhouse committee.
1. Why do you want to become a member of the Board and what motivates you? I am primarily motivated by the desire for excellence in all aspects of my life. As my families’ life is now centered in Frenchman’s, I want to be active in what makes and keeps our community the premier com- munity in the Palm Beach/South Florida area. I am logical, not emotional by nature, and am therefore able to express myself as such, while being open and considerate to others’ ideas. I’ve always strived to be a thought leader and have never been intimidated by consensus or “groupthink” and work to advance ideas that are new and fresh—and will hopefully allow our community to innovate so that we remain the best community we can be. By the time we have our new board, Frenchman’s will have voted on the clubhouse. We will know if we are building a new, energy efficient state-of-the-art club house or renovat- ing the existing structure. Either way, I will do my best to see that the budget is adhered to and member questions and concerns are heard. I will also work to rebuild a divided community, advocate for transpar- ency and put the best interest of our members first. I believe in transparency and unbiased oversight of spending to eliminate unnecessary expenses, while still maintaining the high level of service our members expect. It is crucial to be on the cutting edge and to stay one step ahead of other clubs in order to maintain real estate values, bring in new members and keep our members here and happy. I would closely follow the new or renovated clubhouse planning and finances to ensure we stay, as best we can, on budget and the projected timeline. Energy efficiency is crucial, as is life expectancy of the buildings structure and I will advocate for that. It is important to be sensitive to those who have concerns about a project of this scale and I hope that by being transparent we can a alleviate some of their fears. I do feel, and make no apologies for, that as a relatively new 60 year-old member, I represent a point of view that has a 5 to 20 year, forward-thinking strategic view of this community and my vision and actions would reflect that long-term view, which is why I supported the new clubhouse. I believe this community is at a critical crossroad, where we need to do everything we can to embrace the new generation of young retirees that will flood this market in the coming years due, in large part, to technology and the ability to work remotely. 2. What is your vision for the future of Frenchman’s Creek, and as a member of the Board, what specific action plans would you advocate for now to execute your vision?
Ultimately, I would strive to foster an atmosphere where all members can feel comfortable expressing their concerns, suggestions, knowledge and expertise with the board.

Jeffrey Glazer
Jeff, and his wife, Norma, have been residents of Frenchman’s Creek for 16 years, currently spending 7 months in Florida and dividing the rest of the year be- tween Cleveland, Ohio and Chautauqua, New York. He is a graduate of the Uni- versity of Pennsylvania (Wharton), receiving a B.S. in Economics, and Case Western Reserve University School of Law, receiving a J.D. After practicing real estate and securities law for years, he acquired and developed a national com- mercial real estate portfolio which he still manages.
His civic Board service include: Cleveland Ballet Vice President of Development; Dance Cleveland President; {Red} an Orchestra Founder and Chairman; University of Pennsylvania Alumni Club of Cleveland President; Jewish Family Service of Cleveland Board; Jewish Federation of Cleveland Allocation Committee. He was a member of Oakwood Club in Cleveland and served on the Budget and Fi- nance Committee. Jeff is currently a member of The Country Club of Pepper Pike. At Frenchman’s, Jeff currently serves as First Vice President of the Board of Governors and also serves on the Executive, Legal and Compensation Committees. He previously served as Secretary of the Board and Chairman of the Food and Beverage Committee and Chairman of the Lifestyle Subcommittee (spa/ wellness). 1. Why do you want to become a member of the Board and what motivates you? We will be undertaking the largest clubhouse project in our Club’s history. The need for governance and transparency has never been greater. With my experience in serving the community as well as my expertise in real estate development, I can fulfill these challenging roles. This year has seen a polarized Board. I have actively tried and hope to continue to bring both sides together by lowering the rhetoric and increasing civility. 2. What is your vision for the future of Frenchman’s Creek, and as a member of the Board, what specific action plans would you advocate for now to execute your vision? My vision is to bring harmony to Frenchman’s Creek and secure our place as the premier community in South Florida. This can be advanced through more frequent communications between the mem- bers of the Board and also from the Board to the members of our community. We should prioritize plans for a spa/wellness facility and cosmetic upgrades to the jewel of Frenchman’s Creek—our Beach Club. Also, we should become proactive in identifying possible solutions to the escalating cost of our employee housing.

Ellen Malasky
Ellen, and her husband, Bruce, have lived in Frenchman’s Creek since May 2015. They are year round residents and have a second home in Deer Valley, Utah. Ellen is originally from New York and Bruce is from Ohio. They have two adult sons who live in Boston but they enjoy visiting Frenchman’s whenever they can. Ellen serves as Vice Chair of both the Legal Committee and External Affairs Committee at Frenchman’s and also sits on the Governance Commit- tee. Ellen and Bruce take advantage of all Frenchman’s has to offer including golf, pickle ball, the beach club, and wine dinners. You will often see them out walking with their dog, Otis.
Ellen is Assistant General Counsel for Florida Power & Light Company. She has been in-house counsel with the company for 17 years. Prior to joining FPL, Ellen was in private practice in Palm Beach having worked in both local and national law firms. She has held many volunteer leadership and appointed po- sitions in the community including Chair of the Consumer Affairs Hearing Board for Palm Beach County, Chair of the Florida Bar Grievance Committee for Palm Beach County, President of the Florida Associa- tion for Women Lawyers Palm Beach County, and is a graduate of Leadership Palm Beach County. Ellen is passionate about charitable organizations and community involvement and currently serves on the Board of the Legal Aid Society, is involved with United Way, American Jewish Congress (AJC), and has held many positions with other organizations over the years, including at her sons’ schools. 1. Why do you want to become a member of the Board and what motivates you? Frenchman’s Creek is an amazing community with much to offer all of its residents. There are many issues facing the community, financial and cultural, that will need to be addressed by the community and its leaders. I believe my experience as a lawyer for a large company that is al- ways looking for ways to improve, innovate and engage, along with my negotiation and problem solving skills, will be an asset to the Board, as we move forward into the next chapter of French- man’s Creek, no matter what the clubhouse outcome is. I have always enjoyed a challenge! 2. What is your vision for the future of Frenchman’s Creek, and as a member of the Board, what specific action plans would you advocate for now to execute your vision? Frenchman’s Creek needs to remain the club that every other club wants to be. We need to de- liver to the members an exceptional clubhouse. We need to make sure that we are listening to all of the members’ concerns and aspirations for their community. Most importantly, we need to be a unified community. I intend to use my legal, problem solving and organizational skills to help deliver all of these things. Ellen received a B.A. in Business and Government from Skidmore College (where she met Bruce) and received her J.D. from Pace University School of Law.

Jeffrey Parker
Jeffrey, and his wife, Shelley, have been happy and active residents of Frenchman’s Creek since 2007 enjoying all aspects of FC life. Their children and grandchildren live in New York City and enjoy coming to Frenchman’s Creek. An engaged member of the FC community, Jeffrey is the current Chair of the Golf Committee and is a member of the Green Committee. He was past Chair of the Grievance Committee and the Security Committee. He has also served
on the Finance Committee, the Capital Budget Subcommittee and the Beach Club Committee.
Jeffrey has been an active Board member of their cooperative both as a past President and Board member for 30 years. He has also been active on numerous for profit and non-profit Boards such as UCI, a construction materials manufacturer and the Anti-Defamation League. Jeffrey has extensive real estate and operational experience. He rehabilitated and had ground up de- velopment investments. He was the Managing Partner of the Los Angeles Biltmore, a 1000 key hotel, and developed assets from London to California, including owning and developing Element 52, an Au- berge resort in Telluride, Colorado. As a Managing Director of The First Boston Corporation, Jeffrey was responsible for the firm’s principal investments in leveraged buyouts, real estate and venture capital. He was also a tax Partner in the New York office of PricewaterhouseCoopers and was on the Executive Committee of the American op- erations of Yamaichi Securities, which was one of the ten largest banks in the world. 1. Why do you want to become a member of the Board and what motivates you? Combining my business experience with my FC committee experience I believe I can help build a consensus in the community and on the Board. My professional experience can add value and contribute to the implementation of community decisions including the clubhouse. 2. What is your vision for the future of Frenchman’s Creek, and as a member of the Board, what specific action plans would you advocate for now to execute your vision? My vision is to retain our reputation as a premier residential community by maintaining and con- stantly improving our recreational facilities. For example, we should build the long discussed golf training facility and upgrade and expand our spa. Additionally, we need to improve our pub- lic space telecom and internet access . He is a Certified Public Accountant and an attorney. He was an Adjunct Professor at New York Univer- sity Stern School of Business and Fordham Graduate School.

Gale Salz
Gale, and her husband, Sandy, moved to Frenchman’s Creek in 1994 and have spent many years raising their 4 children and multitude of grandchildren here. Since her early days, Gale became involved in a myriad of activities as indicated below: Gale was born and raised in New Jersey and graduated Douglas College with a B.S. degree in Sociology. She worked for the New Jersey Bureau of Children’s Services for nine years as a Social Worker before she became the Administrator of the Youth Service Bureau.
Gale has been active for many years in the Jewish Federation of Central New Jersey and was honored with the Florence Kipniss Wilson Award as a Woman of Valor during a trip to Israel. She is currently a member of the Board of the Jewish Federation of Palm Beach County. She was also involved for many years in her northern country club, Shackamaxon in Scotch Plains, New Jersey, having served as President of the Women’s Association for three terms and served as liaison to the Board of Trustees. She is currently a member of Crestmont Country Club in West Orange, New Jersey. Gale has been a member of the Flo Okin Cancer Relief for over 40 years in New Jersey and has served as Co-President for over 15 years. Flo Okin provides aid to needy cancer patients and works with the Barnabas Health System to improve patient care. Since becoming a resident of Frenchman’s Creek, Gale has spent her time serving on or Chairing various committees or events. She was the Chair of the Member Relations Committee (2012-2018) and served as a member of the Mar- keting Committee (2018-2019), Food & Beverage Committee (2008-present), Entertainment Committee (2008- present), and the Charities Foundation Weekend Committee (2012-2013). Most notably, Gale Co-Chaired the Frenchman’s Creek Women for Cancer Research for 3 years, having raised over $800,000 to support Scripps Research Institute. As a member of the Ladies Golf Association, Gale has Chaired both Ladies and Mixed Couples Member Guests as well as Nine, Wine & Dine golf events for 2 years. 1. Why do you want to become a member of the Board and what motivates you? I want to become a member of the Board because I have spent 26 years involved in many activities and have befriended members of all ages. We are currently in a state of turmoil with much divisiveness and discontent. I believe I have a great relationship with much of the membership and can help bring about a consensus and thus, bring us together once again. I consider myself to be cross-generational and can help bridge the gap of young and old. Hopefully, once the major issue of the Clubhouse, new or renovated, is resolved, we can once again become the close knit, familial membership we have always been. I also believe we need to have more female Board members as women undoubtedly offer additional or different perspectives. 2. What is your vision for the future of Frenchman’s Creek, and as a member of the Board, what specific action plans would you advocate for now to execute your vision? My vision for the future is to re-unite our community and bring back the unified, cohesive and friendly atmos- phere that we have always enjoyed. Whether we decide on a renovation of the present clubhouse or a newly built clubhouse, we will hopefully accept the decision and move forward so we can begin to address our next major plans for improvement such as a modernized and updated Fitness Center and Spa. Let us remember all of the reasons we are at Frenchman’s Creek rather than any other club in the area. We enjoy a fantastic lifestyle where our every need and desire is met with a smile by our outstanding staff and administration. Let’s move together in harmony so we can continue to attract younger future members. We are definitely the best, and most desirable Country Club in South Florida.

Harvey Schulweis
Harvey and his wife Barbara have been members of Frenchman’s Creek since 2007. Harvey played a role in the sale of the property in the 1980’s to Barbara’s family who were involved in the development of Frenchman’s. With each passing year, Barbara and Harvey are spending and enjoying more and more time in the community during the fall, winter and spring seasons. Harvey’s career has been spent in finance and real estate. He started as an ac- countant, is a CPA, and was a partner at Ernst & Young. After leaving public ac- counting, he joined the international investment banking firm of Lazard Freres,
where he became the senior real estate partner and was responsible for the acquisition and management of several major New York City office buildings and a large multi-state residential portfolio. In 1993, he orches- trated the spinoff of the residential properties into a New York Stock Exchange listed real estate investment trust and became its Chairman and CEO. In 2006, the REIT was acquired by Morgan Stanley and Harvey has since been a private investor and developer of residential and commercial real estate. Harvey has been very active in a number of philanthropic activities, including serving as chairman of the Jewish Foundation for the Righteous for 30 years, an organization that has financially supported Christians who saved Jews during the Holocaust, Chairman of a JCC in New York for over a decade and serving in sig- nificant leadership roles in both the UJA-Federation of New York and the American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee. He is also a board member of Old Oaks, a country club located in his community in New York, and has served as its chairman of the finance committee and treasurer. In service to Frenchman’s, he has been a member of the Audit Committee and an adviser regarding various issues involving the development of an improved clubhouse experience for the community. 1. Why do you want to become a member of the Board and what motivates you? My wife and I are committed to spending our retirement years at this exceptional community and I want to contribute my energy, time and experience to help deal with some of the challenges which we are facing. My experience in a variety of leadership roles has demonstrated an ability to success- fully encourage collaborative efforts to solve challenging problems. In our case, this encompasses the clubhouse project, future capital and infrastructural needs and financial management. The goals are to accomplish an efficient and responsible financial structure and the maintenance of the unique and outstanding culture and life experience that has successfully defined Frenchman’s for decades. 2. What is your vision for the future of Frenchman’s Creek, and as a member of the Board, what specific action plans would you advocate for now to execute your vision? A vision for the future should include an understanding of the current and probable future demo- graphic cohorts of the community. The facilities and amenities should be developed and maintained to best suit the needs of all of its residents. This process should form the basis for a strategic plan that will guide the Board in examining financing and capital options for the future. The resolution of the clubhouse issue will soon be concluded and will, hopefully, allow for a cohesive and cooperative development of plans for the spa, beach club, golf courses and other elements that make our com- munity the most desired in the area.
