positive, management continues to closely monitor all financial results including overhead and departmental operating expenses. The new fiscal year is off to a strong start with nine new members closing on homes through the end of June. There are an additional five pending new member sales scheduled through September. VII. GOLF COURSE MAINTENANCE: The north course improvement project is on budget and on schedule for the August 5 th re-opening. The construction company finished the tees, collars and necessary collateral work within the estimated timeframe. The landscape enhancement plan that involves planting approximately 2,000 ornamental shrubs, flowering plants and assorted palm trees is 90% complete. The old sand was removed from the bunkers and used to topdress the fairways. A liner is being installed on the faces of bunkers that are more prone to plugging or washing out. New sand (Superior Angle) has been installed in the front nine bunkers. This sand was selected because it is reported to drain resist plugging better than the previous bunker sand. VIII. POA MATTERS: Security: Interviews have taken place for the Security Director position. Elite Protection has extended an offer and we anticipate a replacement within the coming weeks. A verbal update on the security perimeter camera system will be provided at the meeting. We continue to work with the wildlife expert to capture and remove the alligator which has been sighted on property. All methods are being used to remedy the situation. Golf Cart Liability Insurance : To date, all residents, with the exception of twenty- three, have complied with the rule to supply proof of golf cart liability insurance. We anticipate having the remaining 23 residents in compliance by the end of July. Arrangements are being made to affix a sticker on all golf carts that have provided proof of coverage. Mr. Barham, Chair of the Golf Cart Safety Program Ad Hoc Committee, will be meeting with his committee in the fall to review our existing program and make recommendations.
