FLORENCE GORDON

ORHAN’S INHERITANCE

DEAR COMMITTEE MEMBERS

BY BRIAN MORTON

BY ALINE OHANESIAN

BY JULIE SCHUMACHER

A feisty, cantankerous 75-year-old writer and former feminist activist must deal with new-found fame and a long-absent family.

100 years after the Armenian genocide, this debut novel exhibits an impressive grasp of history through the painful odyssey of one family’s experiences.

A hilarious academic novel that is short on pages and long on insights into what our society “values” today. Written entirely in letters of recommendation!

Join us for a series of lectures with Q & A on the best in contemporary fiction. Each session will include literary background, extensive material on the author’s life and creative development as well as intensive analysis of the book. For more information, please visit www.bookswithsandra.com.

Let’s meet for coffee at 9:30 am. The Book Talks will start promptly at 10:00 am.
