Find thegreatest chessmoveof all times. This is a situation from the final game of the 1998 Linares Chess Tournament. Black is tomove andAlexei Shirovmakes what is believed to be the greatest chess move of all times. This is definitely a high difficulty situation and by analyzing it you will gain great insides of end game strategies. Few things to consider: 1 always plan to promote to queen,2 two fronts are better than one front of attack, 3 pawns in chain are stronger than individual set ups,4 sacrifice smart . Try to find the best move for black. Last month’s solution: The best move for white would be Queen from D6 to H6. This is the only option where white checkmates black instantly. The rest of the options appear to take two-three moves. In Chess we aim to achieve check-mate situations, rather than just check.

Meet the Realtor Program
Thank you for attending the recent “Meet the Realtor” cocktail reception. Your attendance made it a great success.
It is my pleasure to introduce the “Meet the Realtor” program. The program was designed with you in mind. It’s an opportunity for you, the member, to meet top professionals in the Real Estate industry. While you relax in your home you can view their individual presentations. When you are in the market to purchase a larger home or a smaller home these professionals are available to help. Careful consideration was given to your needs as a seller, buyer or Frenchman’s Creek ambassador. You deserve options, without all of the wasted time and sales pressure. If you have a friend, family member or business associate interested in learning more about Frenchman’s Creek you have a group of professionals to select from. I will produce a quarterly market analysis to keep you in the know. The Real Estate newsletter will include a section called “Meet the Realtor” where you can read about the Realtors that are participating in the program. A cocktail party will be hosted where you are able to meet them in person. Mark your calendar for the next “Meet the Realtor” cocktails and conversation event scheduled on Thursday, November 18 th from 5:30pm to 7:30pm. The function is currently scheduled in your lounge and dining room.
To view the current Realtor presentations, sit down, relax and tune to FCTV channel 999. Enjoy the show!
A Broker “Open House” is tentatively scheduled for Sunday, October 4 th to showcase the current listings here at Frenchman’s Creek.
I encourage you to contact me with any questions, comments or concerns at (561) 784-6505.

P i c k l e ba l l Ro c ks . . . but you already knew that! Frenchman’s Creek is proud to present our newest and fastest growing sport in the country... …P I C K L E BA L L ! The Pickleball craze is sweeping the nation, it is a fun game for all ages. The game is played with a paddle on a court or in the yard, it is a cross between badminton, tennis and ping-pong. Pickleball was created with one thing in mind: FUN. It was designed to be easy to learn and play whether you are five, eighty-five or something in between. Last year we introduced the game and it was a big hit. We have converted two additional courts to anticipate the need of a growing demand for the game. Frenchman’s Creek is the only club in the area that has 6 pickleball courts. If you are interested in learning the game, we offer private or group lessons.
