South Course Update By Wes Dillard, Golf Course Superintendent

You are looking at the golf course maintenance department’s most recent purchase. This is a Ditch Witch RT-40 and the maintenance staff will use it to make drainage enhancements and to make minor adjustments to the irrigation system as part of the south course improvement project. The south course will close Thursday, May 1st. In the last few days it is open, the last Roundup treatment will be applied, the maintenance staff will get a jump on projects and the contractor will start mobilizing some of their equipment. We are all very excited and can’t wait to get started on this important project .
