Our water aerobic party was an end of season party with a thank you to Chris. We honored her with a gigantic bouquet of flowers and a delicious cake. She has worked diligently to make us stronger, to make us steady on our feet, and boosting our cardio work outs. We are so very grateful to have her as our instructor. The evening was attended by 60 members. Our staff did an amazing job. It was a night to remember. Judy Konigsberg We thank Judy and Marie Kravecas for remembering the evening with these pictures.

The Homefront column is designed to inform our members where in the community our new residents are living and other residences they may have. It also keeps up with our present members who have stayed in the community but moved to new dwellings. Of course we always wish our members who are moving out of the community good luck wherever their travels take them and our new members and established members good luck in their new address. This month we welcome six new members to Frenchman ’ s Creek.
Please welcome DANA and GREGORY ROGERS who bought the home of Susan and Scott Weil on Verde Drive. Gregory is the Founder and Managing Partner of Raylign, LLC, a family business consulting company. His hobbies are The New York Times Crossword puzzle ( we know where to go for answers now, folks), music, drums and Lacrosse. He also sports a 13.5 golf handicap. Dana is the Administrative Assistant of Greenwich Academy Middle School. She enjoys reading, theater and cooking. They have three children, Ben, Henry and Rachel all pictured with Mom and Dad.

We apologize for “slipping up” in last month’s May 2023 issue– in not getting all the facts for Jill and Eric. Below is the correct version.
JILL and ERIC SUSSMAN purchased the home of Jane and Eric Mautner on Le Bateau Lane. (The Mautner ’ s arestill here on Rhone Drive). Jill and Eric also reside in Wynnewood, Pennsylvania as well as Margate, New Jersey. Eric is the retired Owner, President of Sussman Automotive, a retail, Real Estate and Private Equity Company. He loves sports and exercise and has a golf handicap of 12. Jill likes cards, the theater, walking, working out, art and design. They are so lucky to have both sets of parents living at Frenchman ’ s or shall we say their parents are so lucky. Jill ’ s parents are Susan and Clive Barlow and Eric ’ s parents are Elaine and Marty Sussman.

We thank Lynne Cooper for suggesting and Martina Haut and David Kent for arranging our last farewell of the season – a cookout at the pool. Live music tropical theme had all up and dancing at their seats plus an added ambiance to dinner. The food was typical barbecue comfort cuisine. A wonderful way to say hello to your neighbor, farewell to the season and wishes for a great summer. Speaking of summer, remember our summer season begins with Memorial Day weekend activities .

Well our SIESTA was postponed for a month and we are so happy to have all these great happenings to report. For the next few months, we will be on an abbreviated siesta. If you have any late breaking news or happy event to share with your friends at Frenchman’s, please feel free to e-mail them to the marketing office or Bobbe Wiener at babasouth@aol.com. Also during the summer, look for our page, FRENCHMAN’S CREEK LIFE, in the monthly newsletter. We wish all a Healthy, Happy Summer to enjoy — it will be next season before you know it. bw
