JANUARY 2019 FC LIFE

The Bronx Wanderers appeared at Frenchman’s Creek on Wednesday, January 16, 2019 as part of the Headliners series. They have a permanent stint at Ballys Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas and appeared here for the second time to thank Frenchman’s. It seems a few years ago, when they played for us, there was a talent agent in the audience and the rest is history. The lead is the Father, Vinnie, naturally born and bred in the Bronx. with his two sons and two of their friends. To say the evening was magical is an understatement. The buffet dinner great– the dessert beyond delicious– a lava cake with caramel ice cream. The music ranged from the 50’s to the 70’s to today with a fabulous rendition of Bruno Mars by one of the sons. A Neil Diamond impersonation and even Elvis made an “appearance.” The consensus of all who attended was the evening proved to be the best ever. Forty-five minutes of continuous songs and everyone stayed til the end of the evening. A wonderful job done by our Entertainment Chairs– Judy Konigsberg and Ethel Schultz.
