Open Bar Events Multiple events at Frenchman’s Creek include an open bar. For those events the consumed beverages are not charged to the individual member. However, it is important to keep track of the inventory consumed in order to control par stock levels, beverage cost and revise event prices if necessary. Consequently, an accubar scanner is used to scan all alcoholic beverages at the bar before and after the event. The discrepancy between starting and ending inventory equals the consumption of the event.
