Italian liqueur, bright gold-yellow in color, with an anise-vanilla- herbal character.
Galliano:
Cognac-based, orange-flavored French liqueur.
Grand Marnier:
Irish liqueur made with Irish whisky, heather, honey and herbs.
Irish Mist:
A Mexican coffee liqueur, flavored with vanilla. Some substitutes exist, but are generally perceived by the public to be inferior. Served in a number of popular drinks such as Black Russian, White Russian or Keoki Coffee. Mixes well in cream drinks and coffee drinks.
Kahlua:
Colorless brandy distilled from cherries complete with stones.
Kirschwasser:
A French aperitif / fortified wine similar to French vermouth with a hint of orange flavor.
Lillet Blonde:
Greek brandy-based liqueur with citrus / apricot overtones. Medium sweet.
Metaxa:
Greek liqueur with a licorice-like anise flavor. Much drier and higher proof than anisette.
Ouzo:
Blend of anise and other special flavorings with natural herbs on spirit base. French aperitif / liqueur.
