Sue Davis, Chair of the Sub - Committee, along with the Entertainment Committee and her committee members, Wendy Weinstein and Dottie Kovel, are to be commended for their entire rethinking of Opening Night Party, Saturday, November 12th. As the Pavilion was not open for dining, they changed the format to Desserts, Drinks and Dancing to the “ Miami Sound Revue ” band. Over 300 members enjoyed a lovely even- ing of music, dancing if one wished, and wonderful desserts plus an open bar. It showcased the Pavilion and how festive it can appear and accommodate many of our members. A great night was had by all.

MUSIC APPRECIATION NIGHT with speaker NED DORMAN featuring, Billy Joel, which was on our daily E - mail and now showing on our in house FCTV CHANNEL 999, was a treat! Ned is captivating in his presentation and gives you great background of his subject, as he uses video clips to share behind the scene stories of the life and creative process of Billy Joel. Unfortunately, the evening was cut short due to rain. However, Ned will be back soon to finish his enlightening presentation on Billy Joel and have another per- former to tell us about. Be sure to watch for this event as it will be standing room only.
