Thank you, Jeanne and Meredith, for taking us up on the offer to FedEx about a hundred Literacy Coalition Adult Student Essays to me at my home in Frenchman's Creek. That was step one!! Then with the help of our Frenchman's Creek members and Volunteer Match Chairperson, Andrea Finkel, and our POA office, we were able to divide up the hundred essays with the readers' instruction sheet among about a dozen of our members. Your instruction sheet is excellent! No surprise to us -- our Frenchman's Creek members found the

adult assignment very rewarding. It's always enriching to see the work that the Literacy Coalition does as well as get to read about the personal achievements of the community you serve. Andrea will be collecting the essay review sheets from our members by the end of this coming week with the comment sheets. I'm hoping this FedEx system and our Volun- teer Match Program and your wonderful volunteers who work with the adults learning English is a great match! Nancy Berkley THE CLEAN YOUR CLOSETS held Monday, November 11th had great support from our members. We thank all who gave to this wonderful cause, The American Cancer Society ’ s thrift shops.
