In our June 2022 edition, LOIS STERN wrote about her and her husband SONNY ’ S Yorkie that had just passed away and she ended by saying perhaps in the near future there will be a happy story to write. Well here it is! We want to introduce you to our new puppy, Marley Stern. She is just 7 months old and joined our family this past July in New Jersey. It is our 4th Yorkie. As you might know, there is a lot of work to train a puppy. In all our married life, we have only been without a dog for three years. We are excited to have Marley. ANOTHER BIKE TRIP from LOIS and SONNY STERN

This past September, we took another bike trip to the Piedmont Region of Italy. This area is next to Tuscany and is known for some of the best red wines produced anywhere. The vistas of the fields of grapes growing in the foot hills of the Alps are really beautiful. The rides took us to great views but were very hilly.

As usual, we were the oldest riders since the 14 others in the group were all quite young but great companions. One of the best parts of these trips

is the usual other riders you meet. Two other couples were from Australia and the others from various parts of the United States. Since this was our 29th bike trip, hopefully we will be able to partake in bike trip # 30 next year. The 30th bike trip is complimentary!
