A local atty is available re: estate documents. • Work Orders — Landscape/irrigation, post lights, pressure cleaning, humane animal trapping, fence repair, mailbox repair. • Guest Registration — Register all guests at the POA Office (in person, through email, by calling us, or through the website). • Shredding —Drop boxes are available at the POA Office year round and “Shred Truck Days” are scheduled periodically September— May. • Transportation — Book Chauffeur Services — flat rate airport trips...using your vehicle or our new luxury 7-person passenger van, or hourly for errands or a night on the town.

GOLF

Dear Frenchman’s Creek Members,

As we approach the season, we have a few friendly reminders.

The Frenchman’s Creek Ladies Golf Association (FCLGA) sent the 2023-2024 membership application. To be a member of the FCLGA the annual dues are $200, plus $10 if you wish to enter the Hole in One fund. The FCLGA hosts 18-hole and 9-hole events, and players of all skill levels are encouraged to join for the competition and camaraderie. To participate in FCLGA events, including the Ladies Member/ Guest days, an application and applicable dues payment must be made before participation, and the registration deadline is Sunday, October 1. New this year, members can register for all golf events online. When the event registration is published, simply click on the registration link embedded in the event notice. Members may also register for golf events using the Frenchman’s Creek mobile App or the Frenchman’s Creek member’s website. In all cases, click on the link, follow the two simple steps, and you will be registered. It’s just that simple. During the first phase of the Clubhouse construction, the Nine South cart paths, from approximately the Green Tee all the way around the 9th Green are closed. For those playing the 9th Hole, once you play your tee shot, you will need to backtrack to the 8th Green cart path and follow the signage that directs carts through the Pumphouse area, the land bridge duck feeding area, and eventually leads the players left to the back of the 9th Green. The golf maintenance team has provided temporary parking and a turnaround in this area. All golf carts, even those with medical flags, must stay in the temporary parking area. Carts are not allowed on any of the turf around the 9th Green. We are pleased to announce that Ramon Molina, is our new golf cart mechanic. Ramon has worked in the golf cart field for several years and, most recently, was engaged with B&D Golf Cart Inc. Ramon is trained in all types of golf cart repair, which includes full brake replacement, bushing replacement, M-Core repair, along with battery installation, and tire replacement. Lastly, included in this edition of the September newsletter, you will find the 2023-24 Golf Tournament Schedule.

Frenchman’s Creek Deliveries SECURITY

Security is required to investigate all drivers requesting access to our community. This includes all deliveries to our community and members. In order to continue to provide a high level of security service, we ask our members not to place any deliveries or delivery drivers on your permanent guest list. If you do place them on your list, our security staff will contact those members on every delivery. Security has experienced drivers requesting access but to the incorrect community. We want to assure you that those delivery drivers are in fact at the correct location and that our members are in fact expecting a package. We appreciate everyone’s patience and efforts with this matter. As always, for further questions, please contact security at 561-622-7800. The Homefront column is designed to inform our members where in the community our new residents are living and other residences they may have. It also keeps up with our present members who have stayed in the community but moved to new dwellings. Of course we always wish our members who are moving out of the community good luck wherever their travels take them and our new members and established members good luck in their new address.

We Welcome: LAUREN and RICHARD MAYBAUM who purchased a home on Loire Lane. They also reside in Greenwich, Connecticut. Lauren enjoys golf, travel, fitness, reading and art. Richard is Partner and Managing Director of Littlejohn and Company , a financial business. He shares his wife ’ s interests and sports a golf handicap of 15.9. Their three children are pictured with them: Hayley age 28, Alison age 26 and Will age 22. Good luck and many happy days at Frenchman ’ s.
