A few words from your volunteer librarians:
The Frenchman’s Creek library located in the business center on the ground floor of the Main Clubhouse is for the benefit and enjoyment of our members. Due to our restricted space, we shelve only the new and nearly new novels and other books of interest. We ask that you do not bring us books that are more than 10 years old. We try to keep the library as current as possible. Thank you for your cooperation.
Irene Dixon and Harriet Caplan

The Homefront column is designed to inform our members where in the community our new residents are living and other residences they may have. It also keeps up with our present members who have stayed in the community but moved to new dwellings. Of course we always wish our members who are moving out of the community good luck wherever their travels take them and our new members and established members good luck in their new address. BENNETT and BONNIE RECHLER have purchased Barbara and Arnold Mittelman’s home on Rhone Drive. They also reside in Great Neck, New York. The Mittelman’s have moved out of the community. JIM COLE has purchased Shirley Goldberg’s house on Le Bateau Drive. SHIRLEY GOLDBERG purchased Don and Mary Kate Opici’s home on Verde Drive. The Opici’s will still be seen in the community.
The Community mourns the loss of our member SIDNEY BARBAS who resided at 3591 Loire Lane and was a member since 1989. Our heartfelt sympathies to his beloved children and their families.
IRWIN SHIPPER, highly regarded and respected in the funerary world, has graciously offered to share his knowledge, experience and assistance to help those members who might be in need of such services.
