RYAN LAX is our newest staff member and is the relief manager of the various dining facilities. When the Sports Bar renovations are completed he will be the Sports Bar Manager. Just before coming to Frenchman’s, Ryan was the Dining Room Manager at Eastpointe Country Club. Ryan hails from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania where he was the food and beverage supervisor of 10 Arts Restaurant with celebrity chef, Eric Ripert. He helped to supervise the Opening of Coda in Rittenhouse Square. It is the biggest nightclub in Philly. Ryan attended Arizona State School for film and drama but was drawn into the food and beverage business and became a manger in one of Chicago’s fine steak houses. He then helped to open and recruit staff for the “Bull and Bear Bar,” which to this day is still the number one bar in Chicago. From there, Ryan went to the Ritz Carlton Hotels Company and gleaned more experience and expertise in the field of hospitality, food and beverage. His specialty is opening new upscale dining facilities, hiring the staff and training them. He is well versed in social media and has a background in the knowledge of liquor needed to open fine restaurants and bars. We are happy to welcome Ryan to the Frenchman’s Creek staff and community and are happy he decided to move to Florida from Philadelphia !

The Homefront column is designed to inform our members where in the community our new residents are living and other residences they may have. It also keeps up with our present members who have stayed in the community but moved to new dwellings. Of course we always wish our members who are moving out of the community good luck wherever their travels take them and our new members and established members good luck in their new address. In Dellesa’s short time with us, she has instituted “Employee of the Month, Leader of the Quarter and will introduce the International Employee, Leader and Employee of the Year. She strongly feels it is everyone’s duty to be proactive and anticipate each others needs and wants. When we hire the right fit in our culture the passion will overflow with great results. Speaking to Dellesa, you will see that she will succeed in the high goals she has set for herself and our entire staff. We wish you good luck, Dellesa and welcome you to our com- munity. You are indeed an asset. DELLESA KIRK-JOHNSON is our new Human Resources Director. Previously before coming to Frenchman’s, she was Human Resources Director for the Wyndham Grand Jupiter in Harbourside Place. She was with the Ritz Carlton Hotels Company for 20 years, including the one previously across the street. Dellesa started her hospitality career in operations and rose to Director of Human Re- sources. She is highly qualified, very warm and engaging. At Frenchman’s she and the Human Resources Department among other duties will be involved in the J-1 Visas, submit H-3 visa proposals to the government for those qualified, help trainees with travel arrangements and accommodations while staying with us. She wants the trainees to get the full experience of working and training in a club with the high standards, Mr. Goswami has set. She wants the trainees to learn to be diverse managers and more important than anything, she wants the HR office to be warm & welcoming to all our employees.
