FC Life July 2021
AUGUST 2021 edition Highlighting the news and events of July 2021.
The month of June has been momentous for HELENE and MARTY MYERS. Twins Halle & Max graduated with honors from High School, she is off to University of Michigan & Max is gong to Middlebury University in Vermont.
Another graduation from Washington University in St Louis is Matthew. On June 27, Granddaughter Lindsey Myers was married to Justin Saphirstein, outdoors in 98 degrees. Fortunately we all survived the heat.
Now it will be happily ever after. MAX is in his CAP and GOWN HALLE is HOLDING HER MICHIGAN HAT.
LINDA and BOBBY VILENSKY capture the essence of what Frenchman’s Creek is:
On July 3 we left NYC and arrived in PBG to review the progress on our house being built on Verdun in FC. Over the next 2 weeks, while we stayed at a rela- tive’s house at Mirasol, we travelled to Frenchman’s daily to play golf, go to breakfast and dinners, use the gym and the pool, etc. Virtually every single per- son who saw us stopped us and asked us if we were new members and intro- duced themselves to us, telling us if we had any questions we were to feel free to call upon them for anything and everything. While we were sitting in the gym one morning resting, a member walked a few feet past us and then made a point to turn around and come back to ask if we were new members and put out his hand and introduced himself to us. The day after we arrived back in NYC, out of the blue we received a phone call from a member who lives on Verdun wanting to introduce her and her husband to us. Over the last 15 years we have rented at PGA, Mirabella and Mirasol. In not one of these other places did members go out of their way as the members of FC have shown to us. We clearly have chosen a great place to live but more importantly it seems we joined a family. We look forward to many great years at FC.
The Homefront column is designed to inform our members where in the community our new residents are living and other residences they may have. It also keeps up with our present members who have stayed in the community but moved to new dwellings. Of course we always wish our members who are moving out of the community good luck wherever their travels take them and our new members and established members good luck in their new address.
We welcome PHYLLIS DISALVO KATZ and DR. STUART KATZ pictured left with her children,
Dean and Alex. They bought Hank Newman’s house on Toulouse Drive. They also have residences in Paramus, New Jersey and Loveladies, New Jersey. Stuart is an oral surgeon and Phyllis is a Chief Ultrasound Technician.
We do not know who is more thrilled to welcome DR. AMY ZINS ENGELMAN and HAROLD ENGELMAN, (pictured right), Diane Zins, her mother , or we, Frenchman’s Creek. We know Harold and Amy are so excited to be living here. They purchased Marilyn Epton’s home on Provence Drive and also reside in Pocono Pines, Pennsylvania and New York, New York. Amy is an M.D.
In Loving Tribute
JON BLAUNER who lived at 13120 Monet Lane and was a member since 2007. Our heartfelt sympathies to his beloved wife, Irma, and their entire family.
FROM THE EDITORS After a number of years, it has come to our attention that there is confusion with the publication from the administration dated the coming month and ours dated the past month. Their news is what is coming the next month and ours is reviewing the past month’s events and

So it has been decided we will date our publication for the coming month but add an explanation to our edition heading. PLEASE NOTE THE CHANGE WITH THIS ISSUE. We would like to hear from you if this is a positive change, or just more confusing and we should go back to original dating the month that has just passed.
