RHODA AND ALAN EDELMAN for mixing up two of their three simchas (happy events). They became GIGI’S, which is great grandparents February 23 rd when their grandchildren Melanie and Joe Young had a baby girl, Raegan Penneys Young weighing in at 7 pounds 13 ounces and she is 20 inches long. The grandparents are Jonathan and Diana Edelman who reside in Merion, Pennsylvania. Their grandchildren Jackie and Steven Catania were married in Philadelphia on December 31, 2016 (New years eve).

Double header for RHO and ALAN EDELMAN, their grandson, Ben Edelman, has the lead understudy role for a new Broadway Show, SIGNIFICANT OTHER. The previews have already begun. Nana and Papa hope he gets to play the lead role sometimes.

Speaking of GIGI’S, congratulations to SHIRLEY GOLDBERG and ANNE NEUSTADTER, the grandmother. Shirley cleverly writes: The movie” 500 Days of Summer,” written by Scott Eric Neustadter, portrays his own early life. Portrayed in his movie is an actor and actress, Tom and Summer. Tom is soon rejected and meets a new girlfriend, named “Autumn.” The movie is adorable and successful. So after “Summer,” we welcome Scott and Lauren Neustadter’s baby, my great granddaughter and Anne’s granddaughter, RILEY AUTUMN. She was born Tuesday, February 7, 2017 weighing in at 6 pounds 7 ounces.

Kudos to entertainment Chairs: Judy Konigsberg and Ethel Schultz for providing a great evening for couples and singles, Valentines Day 2017. Michael Cavanaugh was superb coming on stage with energy and enthusiasm and stayed that way for 1 1/2 hours. He played Billy Joel and Neil Diamond and a few surprises. The buffet

dinner offered a variety of different selections .

Every woman attending received a red rose upon leaving!

Hopefully they will have another great evening planned for 2018.
