FC LIFE January 2023-Edited Copy

The first cabaret of the 2022 - 2023 season was held Monday, November 21, 2022 at the Beach Club. Co - chairs Barbara Field and Jeri Jacobs worked with Cindy (Beach Club manager) to change the format to heavy hors d ’ oeuvres and dessert, rather than the usual sit down dinner. Entertainment was provided by Steve Maglio, a big band and cabaret singer who specializes in songs sung by Frank Sinatra. Comments from several of the members were rave reviews. Steve gave us a great show and the food was selected based on what Frank Sinatra would have chosen. Chef Alex gave us a wonderful selection of small bites and a delicious dessert.

Steve was so well received everyone stayed till the very end of his performance and left singing.

The second Beach Club Cabaret event of the season was on Monday, December 12. Our featured performer was Chris Ruggerio who wowed the audience with his rendi tions of songs from the 1950's,60's,and 70's.The room was filled to capacity and Chris received a very well deserved standing ovation. Speaking to Chris after the show he said he loved the intimacy of the Cabaret setting and the enthusiasm of the audience. Hosting the event were Barbara Field and Jeri Jacobs, under the direction of Cindy, Beach Club Manager. Gina, T.K, and the entire staff did a magnificent job on the execution of the event. Chef Alex and his culinary team once again put their creative talents on display. The presentation and selection of food choices looked great and how delicious they were.
