Tuesday, October 31 was more than just Halloween. It was Frenchman ’ s Creek Ladies Golf Association opening day – and was definitely a treat, not a trick. It was a treat in so many ways from the very start. The weather was wonderful – just a beautiful day. The participation was great -- even though not all members were back for the season – with 147 women playing in the nine hole step aside scramble format. Each team was composed of ABC and D players, and one drive was required of each player. The teams were divided into four flights, one on each nine. The winning teams in each flight are listed below. Following golf was a super buffet luncheon at the Pavilion - which looked lovely - with many delicious choices. The food and beverage staff did a wonderful job and deserves many thanks. Everyone received opening day gifts of a golf glove and a Halloween themed ball marker. Many thanks go to co - chairs Robin Rosenblatt and Wendy Weinstein who did a super job in providing us with an awesome day and great way to start the season.
