Covid-19 Guidelines for Season 2020-2021

Dear Members, Travel is one of the primary means by which COVID-19 spreads from one area to another. Florida continues to be an epicenter of the pandemic. Our main focus is to keep our community members and staff safe, so we have updated our travel and quarantine policies to be in line with the changing public health guidance and the demographics of our community, to ensure that we meet this objective. While in quarantine and away from your house, please observe all CDC safety guidelines: • Wear a mask • Social distance • Avoid crowded places • Regularly wash your hands for 20 seconds with soap and water We rely upon you to closely follow the guidelines to help protect your fellow members at greatest risk, and to keep this virus at bay. 1. Upon your arrival back to Frenchman’s Creek for the season, you must self-quarantine for fourteen (14) days upon your return. This policy applies to travel back from any international or domestic location and includes all modes of transportation, including travel by car or private airplane. 2. If you travel out of the State of Florida for any number of overnight stays you must self- quarantine for (14) days upon your return to the community. 3. This policy applies to all members, co-habitants and immediate family members residing in your household. 4. To reduce the 14-day self-quarantine period, and to lessen the possiblity of a false negative result, you must obtain a COVID-19 test on the fifth (5th) day after arrival at Frenchman’s Creek from a local medical provider or testing site. The quarantine period will expire on the shorter of 14 days (with no Covid symptoms) from the date of return to Frenchman’s Creek, or the date in which a negative test result is received and presented to the POA office. 5. Upon your return to Frenchman’s Creek, you will be asked to complete and submit a form identifying the date of your arrival and certifying that you will quarantine for 14 days or until a negative COVID-19 test result is received. 1. Staying home for 14 days from the time of arrival in Frenchman’s Creek (or shorter period upon receipt of a negative Covid test result). 2. For the safety of your family, yourself and your neighbors it is recommended that you avoid leaving the community, except as necessary. 3. Avoid all contact with others, especially members and staff. QUARANTINE MEANS: UPON YOUR ARRIVAL BACK AT FRENCHMAN’S CREEK:

You may engage in the following limited activities during the quarantine period: 1. Play golf alone or with your spouse/co-habitant or other household member after 1:00 PM (or earlier if permitted by the Director of Golf based on usage). 2. Using your own golf cart and not club-owned carts. 3. Use of the golf practice facilities available and the north end of the driving range after 1:00 PM is also permitted. 4. Order food, grocery and essential services for delivery by the club. 5. Play tennis and pickle ball with your spouse/co-habitant or other household members after 1:00 PM. 6. Take full advantage of outside activities such as running, walking and biking; strictly maintaining the proper social distance and away from other members. ACTIVITIES AVAILABLE TO YOU DURING QUARANTINE: 4. You will not be allowed to use the club facilities except as noted below. The following clubhouse facilities will not be available to you, including dining venues, fitness center, in- home personal services, golf and tennis pro shops, swimming pool, golf driving range and practice facilities, dog park or Beach Club. 5. Avoiding crowded places outside of Frenchman’s Creek such as restaurants, grocery and drug stores, and shopping centers. 6. Keeping proper social distance from others of at least six feet at all times. A member’s immediate family, who is residing in the home of the member full-time for a minimum of 14 consecutive days, may be registered to permit use of the club facilities as a Registered Family Guest. “Immediate family” is defined generally as son/daughter, mother/ father, brother/sister, and grandson/granddaughter. 1. The Family Guest must be registered with the POA office and have complied with the Quarantine Requirements upon arriving in Frenchman’s Creek. 2. Registered Family Guests will be permitted to participate in services and activities after 1:00 PM daily, including golf, tennis, fitness, spa, swimming pool, Beach Club and access to food and beverage pickup/delivery services. 3. Day-to-Day visitors are not allowed to use the clubhouse facilities and amenities. 4. Members may not invite guests to use the facilities or amenities. 5. All Club Rules and Regulations with respect to the Registered Family Guest shall apply. IMMEDIATE FAMILY GUESTS:

The following guidelines have been designed solely for the purpose of maximizing your enjoyment, and the safety of all members and staff upon your arrival: 1. Members are encouraged to remain in the community unless obtaining essential services or conducting essential activities. 2. In-home gatherings in groups of more than 10 people are discouraged. 3. All at home gatherings should be hosted outdoors. 4. Members may play golf in accordance with the current rules. 5. Members using take-out services should observe the current safety guidelines, including wearing a mask and observing social distance. 6. Members using the Sports Bar, beverage station and food truck should pick up their carry-out personally. Do not send your aide or assistant in your absence, utilize home delivery services instead. 7. Members may play tennis in compliance with the current rules, enjoy private lessons, and use the tennis ball machine. 8. Members are permitted to shop at the Golf and Tennis Shops, while observing proper safety guidelines. 9. Members are permitted to use the fitness center, classes, spa and personal services by appointment, in accordance with current rules. 10. Members using the swimming pools or participating in group exercise classes must observe current CDC social distancing rules and remain at least 6 feet apart at all times. 11.Members participating in any other recreational activities, such as running, walking or biking, should observe current CDC social distancing rules and remain at least 6 feet apart at all times, and avoid taking part in gatherings of more than 10 people. 12.Guests, including family guests not residing with a member, except as noted above, will not be permitted to use any club facilities, services or equipment, including golf, golf practice facilities, golf carts, tennis, fitness center (including the pool), food and beverage services, dog park and Beach Club. This does not prohibit members from having guests in their homes. Dr. Stewart Friedman Chairman of the Medical Advisory Committee START OF THE SEASON: 6. If a Registered Family Guest travels away from Frenchman’s Creek or Palm Beach county, for at least seven (7) over nights, he or she will be required, upon return, to adhere to the Quarantine Requirements.
