Community Activities Brochure 2024

Dear Members of Frenchman’s Creek,

We are excited to introduce you to the newly formed Community Activities Committee, a dedicated group created to foster non-sport activities within our vibrant community. In the wake of the Covid pandemic, and the closure of our Clubhouse, many of us experienced isolation and displacement due to the necessary social distancing measures. As we move forward, it is essential to rebuild and strengthen the bonds within our community. The Community Activities Committee aims to do just that by offering diverse and engaging activities that bring us together in new and meaningful ways. The formation of this committee is grounded in the invaluable feedback we received from the May 2023 survey and the enthusiastic participation at the Activities Fair in November 2023. These events highlighted a strong desire among our members for more opportunities to connect beyond sports, and we have taken your suggestions to heart. Our mission is to create a variety of non-sport activities that cater to all interests and age groups within Frenchman’s Creek. Whether you are interested in cards, book clubs, cooking classes or cultural outings, there will be something for everyone. We believe that these activities will help establish new relationships, promote a sense of cohesiveness, and enhance the overall quality of life within our community.

Should you have a specific interest that is not listed in this brochure please reach out and let us know,

Warm Regards,

PAUL MENDEZ Community Activities Committee pmendez29k@gmail.com
