National ice cream month may have ended in July, but at Frenchman’s Creek, its beloved banana split remains a dessert to remember. As Executive Pastry Chef Kursten Restivo noted, traditional banana splits have vanilla, chocolate and strawberry ice cream, but for members, “I know they love the Graeter’s Raspberry Chocolate Chip ice cream, so I thought that would be perfect.” Graeter’s Ice Cream uses a French Pot Process that, according to industry standards, is the smallest size to create their product.
