April Newsletter 2024

Our security team strives to identify safety concerns throughout the community and address these issues in a timely manner. As you make your way around our community, we ask that you keep in mind the following safety guidelines: 1. Always walk facing oncoming vehicular traffic or left shoulder to the curve. 2. Golf carts and bicycles must follow the same rules of the road as motor vehicles when traveling on the roadway. This includes head light and tail light mandates as well as traffic control devices such as stops signs, direction of travel, etc. 3. Pedestrians and bicyclists should always wear highly visible clothing. Both at night and in the daytime. Such clothing would consist of bright colors or a reflective traffic safety vest which is available at no charge from the security gate house, upon request. 4. Pedestrians should not walk more than two (2) side by side, allowing motorist ample room to pass by. 5. Always adhere to Frenchman’s Creek speed limit of 25 MPH and stop signs. 6. Pedestrians should always be granted the right of way. 7. Be particularly alert in the construction areas as routes frequently change. Slow is good. 8. Be alert for high volumes of truck and construction equipment traffic that may be present and in operation.
