Dear Members, This past month, we conducted the Men’s and Ladies Club Championships and the Couple Club Championship. The Club Championships are the purest form of golf that we conduct annually. Here are some upcoming dates to circle on your calendars: Friday, April 5 is the Charity Fundraiser Auction of the Golf Pros event that will take place in the Pavilion beginning at 6:00 pm. Join us for a fun event that will prepare us for play for the Sunday, April 7 Charity Day Golf event. Sunday, April 7 is the Charity Day Golf Event, 8:30 am shotgun (18 holes) and 1:30 pm shotgun (9 holes). This event will be a scramble format with make-your-own foursomes. Friday, April 12 is the One Day Men’s Member-Guest. Golf will begin with a 1:15 pm shotgun start followed by dinner and awards. Sunday, April 14 will be our Nine, Wine & Dine golf event. Make your own foursome to play in a Step A-Side Scramble format and join us for a 4:30 pm shotgun start, followed by dinner in the Pavilion. Tuesday, April 16 is Ladies Closing Day. This is a nine hole, 9:30 am shotgun event in an A, B, C, D format scramble followed by lunch and the closing meeting. Wednesday, April 17 is Men’s Closing Day Golf. The day begins with an 8:30 am shotgun event in an A, B, C, D format scramble followed by lunch and awards.

In the 2024 Ladies Club Championship , Debra LaLonde became a first-time Club Champion, defeating 3-time defending champion Denise Martorana. In the 2024 Men’s Club Championship , the following winners are: Club Division II - Ken Bezozo, Champion, and Eric Wolfe Runner-Up Club Division III - Bob Sheldon, Champion, and Robert Fortunoff, Runner-Up Club Division IV - Ken Miller, Champion and Larry Blacker Runner-Up Member Division I - Alan Eagle, Champion and Bruce Levy Runner-Up Member Division II - Ed Bloch, Champion, and Jeffrey Parker Runner-Up. Championships matches yet to be decided are the Club Championship Division - Gil Hollander vs. Steve Ackerman Medalist Division - Jon Rachlin vs. Robert Scherer Club Division I - David Spiess vs. Richard Fentin The 2024 Couple Club Championship was also held. The Couple Club Champions are Harry and Navila Armon, and the Net Champions are Steve and Patty Ackerman. The Staff and I thank the entire membership for their support and participation this season.
