Eric Wolf

Eric, and his wife, ML Cocci, have lived at Frenchman ’ s Creek since 2015. They currently spend 9 months at Frenchman ’ s, and the summer months either in Boston or traveling. Eric graduated from the University of Pennsylvania, Wharton School, in 1972 with a degree in Economics. After graduation, he joined the Boston accounting firm owned by his father, and became a partner in 1976. The firm merged with Ernst & Ernst (now Ernst & Young) in 1983, with Eric joining as a Partner in the firm ’ s Tax practice. Eric was a client serving Partner at Ernst & Young until his retirement in 2009. He served a wide variety of clients both public and private, in many different industries including technology, petroleum, manufacturing, retail and professional services, and professional sports. Starting in 1994, Eric also held several leadership positions within the Ernst & Young Tax service line including National Director of U.S. Tax Compliance (1996 - 2000); CFO, Americas Tax Practice (2000 - 2003); and Director of Global Tax Finance and Infrastructure (2004 - 2009). Eric has also served on the Board of several not - for - profit entities including the Massachusetts Chapter, National M.S. Society (Trustee 1986 - 1992, Chair 1990 1992); Red Auerbach Youth Foundation (Treasure 2002 - 2018); The Rivers School (Trustee 2011 - 2021, Audit Committee Chair 2016 - 2021); and The Jack Satter Foundation (Trustee 2014 - Present). At Frenchman ’ s, Eric is completing a 7 - year term on the Audit Committee, the past four years as Chair. He has also worked with the Finance Committee on a number of projects including reporting to the Board and the Community, review of internal controls with Management, development of the Conflict of Interest policy and Whistle blower policy with the Governance Committee, and the search committee for our new CFO.
