Dear Fellow Members, Another season is upon us, and the unofficial kickoff (our Welcome Back Party) is now less than two weeks away (on November 11)! It will be a festive occasion and I ’ m looking forward to see ing everyone there. Also coming up very soon, the Activities Committee is holding an Activities Fair on November 9 to provide members with an opportunity to learn about the numerous activities and events that have been put together to expand the participation in (and enjoyment of) activities to new groups of mem bers who may not have been as engaged by the traditional activities offered in the past. The Activi ties Fair will take place from 3 to 5pm in the Pavilion on November 9, and I strongly encourage eve ryone to attend.

CLUBHOUSE CONSTRUCTION PROJECT

The Clubhouse Construction Committee, in collabo ration with the Finance Committee, released its first Quar terly Report to provide a review of the construction project from a financial and budgetary perspective. You can ac cess the report via the daily email or our website. You will also be witnessing some major milestones on the construction site over the next few weeks as the new west parking area is opened, the golf cart pathway around 9S Green is reopened, and the workers begin the concrete pour for the upper level floor deck. This will be followed by the construction of the second floor walls as we continue the process of completing the "shell" of the building. It ’ s very exciting to see our new clubhouse begin to take shape. BY - LAW AMENDMENTS I want to thank all of the members who voted in the recent bylaw amendment election - whether for or against. I encourage all members to participate in these community votes, as this is how you ensure your voice is heard. The Board is pleased with the outcome of these votes, and we look forward to implementing the new nominating process for Board elections when that process kicks into gear in the spring.

SUPPORTING ISRAEL

Lastly, I would again like to acknowledge the incredible contributions by so many of our mem bers in support of Israel at this critical time. This is not just a Jewish issue; it is a battle of good vs. evil, and one that affects us all as Americans and citizens of the civilized world. The outpouring of support that I have observed makes me proud to be a member of Frenchman ’ s Creek. It ’ s fair to say that while there is much work to be done and it would certainly be premature to declare victory, we are on the right path and mak ing great strides. I hope you ’ ll agree that there is truly much to be excited about as we approach another great season at Frenchman ’ s Creek! Sincerely, IN CLOSING
